Choose your own road. Step beyond the familiar and do not settle for the route already prepared for you.

CHOLCHU is not only a name. It is a way of seeing the world: a life in motion, shaped by the road, the place, and the people met along the way.
A community for people who feel at home outdoors.
CHOLCHU brings together people who do not settle for the familiar: people who look for new roads, learn, adapt, and build a relationship with the people they meet along the way.
For us, travel is not simply choosing a destination. It is hiking, making camp, lighting a fire, cooking together, meeting local people, learning a skill, changing a plan when needed, and living the road itself.

The idea of CHOLCHU comes from my grandfather, Şıxa Mahammad. He lived like a real Cholchu: in motion, seeing different places, adapting, and making a life along the road.
I grew up with this way of thinking. Even after years in tourism, travel was never only about seeing another destination for me. I was drawn to what happened along the way: unexpected places, mountain paths, villages, conversations around a fire, local food, and people met for the first time.
CHOLCHU is the continuation of that personal story. — Araz Mahammadli, Founder
These are not decorations around a journey. They are the choices that determine how we move, stay, and leave a place.
01
Choose your own road. Step beyond the familiar and do not settle for the route already prepared for you.
02
Ask questions, learn, and keep looking. Every road, person, and place has something to teach.
03
Plans, weather, and roads can change. CHOLCHU keeps moving and learns to find a way through.
04
With nature, people, local communities, and other CHOLCHU people. A good journey is more than a view; it is a good connection.
05
Own less. Experience more. Sometimes a tent, a fire, a simple meal, and good people are enough.
06
Every place existed before us and will remain after us. We move with respect for nature, animals, people, culture, and place.
07
We do not want to only take from a place. We want to learn, share, help, and leave something useful behind when we can.
The best experiences are not always the most comfortable ones.
A day in nature, a conversation with someone new, and a simple meal made together can become a more valuable memory than a long journey planned around consumption.
Travel introduces us not only to new places but to ourselves. Nature reminds us what we need when modern life asks us to own more than we can truly use.

Our mission
To build a living community around nature, travel, and real-life experience; a community that helps people discover places, learn skills, meet others, and shape a more independent, active life.
Our vision
We see CHOLCHU becoming a global community of modern nomads who explore, share knowledge, contribute, connect, learn, and keep moving forward while leaving something worthwhile behind.
